Scheduling a Maternity Photography Session
The beautiful time of pregnancy is fleeting and meaningful. For 9 months, your baby is a physical part of you, going everywhere you go. You feel the kicks, and count the days until you can hold your baby in your arms. As a mother myself, I know how special this time is as you prepare to welcome your new baby into your family. I want to help you remember and cherish this exciting moment in your life with beautiful maternity portraits.
Maternity photography sessions can accommodate a variety of family member combinations, and I welcome siblings (and pets!) to participate in the session as well. My studio is conveniently located just north of Wickford in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and has ample parking.
I recommend scheduling your maternity photography session for when you are between 30 and 36 weeks pregnant. We want there to be a nice “bump” but not for you to be uncomfortable. I find the 30-36 weeks range is where women get a little boost of energy and that lovely pregnancy glow.
Investment
My maternity session fees begin at $225.00. Session fees cover my time photographing and editing the images of you and partner and siblings, expertise, use of my wardrobe of maternity dresses and wraps, and a private image reveal for you to view the images and choose your prints.
My heirloom fine art prints are printed on archival paper and mounted to keep them looking beautiful year after year. In addition to prints, I offer fine art lay-flat albums, wall art including canvases and metal prints, and a wide selection of other photographic gifts.
