I am currently now doing Birth Photography and Fresh 48 sessions for interested clients. What an amazing time to capture the birth of your baby’s entrance into the world.  I have been asked about this for a while now and have had the honor  to photograph a birth and I was amazed by the whole process. As a mother myself of three sons, their births are such a foggy memory for me as going through the process of labor and delivery it leaves you wiped out and I wish I had some images now of those precious first moments with each of my boys. I am available for home births and hospital births. If it turns out to be a c-section birth most hospitals will not let a photographer into the room. However, there are exceptions and you can discuss the situation with your OB/GYN and see what the rules are for whatever hospital you will be delivering at. I am also able to do a Fresh 48 photo shoot. This takes place after the baby is born weather in home or at the hospital. I would photograph the baby and family within those first 48 hours after the birth. This is a nice way to get some special family photos of the baby with mom and dad as well as siblings and grandparents.
